The July 4 Patriotic Tour challenges businesses and residents to see if they can create the most memorable Independence Day parades ever. Show your patriotism and show off the best of Santa Clara County with a parade, fireworks, music, food and more.

How to participate: Vote on the prize that goes to the best mini - swimming and vote on the prizes that go to the best mini swimmer. More information on the competition and where to submit your entry will be available shortly.
The top three take home $1,000, $500 and $250 in prizes for the best mini-swimmer and the top five for the best overall performance. The winner is chosen by the public and has the opportunity to come back at the end of the year and compete in the grand final.
This environmentally friendly event is held in conjunction with Earth Day and focuses on improving environmental awareness. The Aquarium of the Pacific is the first ever environmental awareness day. The programme is a day of activities for children, adults and families of all ages and backgrounds. Come out to see the glow in the sky as well as a variety of live music, food trucks and more.

We encourage you to design and build a miniature parade float and then take a photo of it, which you can share online in our photo gallery. Participating residents and businesses will submit photos of their cars to be displayed online and a jury will select the winner.
The biggest community event takes place on Earth Day, which this year falls on a weekday, and the following weekend. Runners can complete as many miles as they want on the Santa Clarita River Trail Run / Walk. The finish time is presented to the runner who finishes the race to be counted for the event.

This festival links the KHTS with its handicraft market, which takes place all weekend. The Santa Clarita Art & Craft Festival is also held every year, a free open-air arts and crafts festival. Historic Luther Drive and the Santa Clara Street intersection will transform into a beautiful outdoor arts and crafts market with a variety of vendors and activities for the kids.
