This is an exceptional school! The teachers are great and very involved with the students progress. This should be rated #1! A must see for anyone looking for a middle or High School!

Before I came to New Heights I was in public school and was picked on by my TA. I went from A's in one semester to D's the second semester. I found myself planning my days avoiding him. I needed a safe place & me parents said enough was enough. This is my 3rd year at New Heights and I am having a sweet year. I spent my summer in Boston at Berklee School of Music. My music teacher helped my prepare for my audition. I love all of my teachers at New Heights. I never thought I would be saying that. The teachers and staff are here becuase they really like what they do & not becuase it's their job. At they end of the day I'm not bored, have no busy work, & I'm preparing for College. Visit New Heights and check for yourselves

New Heights is a hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley. The new administration is wonderful. The school has all new buildings, pretty much an all new campus. It is small enough, that your kids won't get lost in the shuffle. The teachers are amazing, truly dedicated. The parents all just want their children to get a good education, be safe, and be happy. The teachers, staff, administration, parents and children, are all warm and welcoming when you come in as someone new, and that means alot, especially when you are picturing your kid their all day. I went to public school In Los Angeles, and then an Ivy League college, but it was a long time ago. Now, to find a good school for your child is so difficult. Come visit New Heights, that is all I can tell you, come and see for yourself, you won't regret it.

We came from a private school where my child attended K-8. Though bright, school was never a place he felt powerful. This 9th grade year at New Heights has changed his outlook completely. We have actually heard him say that he loves his math teacher. His Humanities teacher has inspired his writing to the point that our son now counts writing as one of his best talents. What a difference. Thank you New Heights.

I have worked at 5 schools, both public and private, before I found NHPS last fall. The faculty, administration, and especially the students make this the best place I have ever taught. I highly enjoy coming to work every day, and look foward to challenging my students with new and different ways to think and explore new ideas and philosophies. I have unorthodox ways of getting the material across, and administration has encouraged this, which makes me feel appreciated, and helps my students thrive.

After being a good student and loving school through elementary, my son had a terrible 6th grade at another private school in the area which completely changed his outlook on education. We visited New Heights in June '07 and were very impressed with their philosophy, small class sizes, and caring administrators & teachers. My son has thrived here in 7th grade, and is actually happy to go to school! The dedication of the founders to building a quality school where students can acheive their potential is inspiring. We've now enrolled my younger son, who will start 6th grade this fall, and he can't wait to begin school here, too. I highly recommend that all parents who are looking for a quality, caring education for their children visit New Heights to find out for themselves.

New Heights is an amazing school! I have three kids who over the years have attended 5 different LAUSD schools and three private schools k-12. NHPS is by far the best school of all. Modeled on the highly successful Crossroads School in Santa Monica, NHPS is an inspiring school dedicated to the Arts and Sciences. Small glass size. Great use of technology. Teachers who care more about the development of the students vs. quarterly assessments and test scores. A great school for gifted students. Students have hands-on experiences, give powerpoint presentations, make collages/posters, design math games, keep science journals, etc. No long lectures and just note taking at this school. Come to an Open House. You'll love what you see and hear. I'm so glad we did.
